As part of a facade renovation project, the original facade of this affordable housing project has been upgraded with a custom-designed solar facade in an all-black Crystal finish and a flat mounting system. The large floor-height and unitised modules reduce cost and invisibly integrate high-efficiency monocrystalline PERC cells in a cladding, with crisp reflections adding a stunning quality to the building.

The facade will provide carbon-free electricity and will cost-effectively improve the environmental footprint of the building for many years. The design is engineered for durability and recyclability using high-quality materials, which can enter existing industrial recycling systems to fully reclaim the invested resources in a circular economy.
