Each facade is grouped and produces electricity independently via its own inverters. The east and west facades have BIPV panels installed in horizontal rows between the windows, while the entire south facade is covered with a mosaic of 500 square and angled modules. The bespoke and colorful facades are complimented by a 1400 sqm installation of all-black standard panels on the buildings mechanical penthouse.
The hospital’s east- and west-facing facades have planar solar panels installed as horizontal bands between the windows, while the entire south facade is covered with a mosaic of 500 square and individually tilted solar panels. Thanks to the matte surface Satin finish combined with a unique structural colour coating, the facade has a dynamic iridescence that will never fade. The solar facades are complemented by a 1,400-sqm installation of all-black facade panels on the building's mechanical penthouse. The more than 35 individual panel designs required to accommodate the aging and settled concrete building was easily handled by our integrated pipeline, and the resulting BIPV-façade achieves a very low build height as well, to fit the available building envelope.
